In 1922 Virginia Woolf met Vita Sackville-West at a Dinner Party. Though both were married, their mutual attraction soon develops into an affair that spans the next two decades, and became notorious.

Through Vita's creation of her much-loved garden and Virginia's literary success and constant struggles with depression, their letters reveal the extraordinary bond between two remarkable women that only death could break.
