A seasonable look at Shakepeare's roistering, knock-about, "middle-class" play! Fat and lecherous, Sir John Falstaff tries to get "a little more than friendly" with two respectable ladies. However the course of "true lust" does not run smoothly as the ladies and their husbands get even with the old rogue with the assistance of a host of outrageous and hilarious characters. |
We start the build-up to Christmas with an unashamedly Dickensian twist in a Christmas seasonal setting of this evergreen and hilarious tale. |
