Patriotic Rudyard Kipling's determination to send his myopic son to the first World War triggers a bitter family conflict and leaves him devastated by the warring of his two greatest passions - love for his children and love of country. Jack is killed in the conflict and the play moves forward to 1933. Rumours of war again, leave Kipling wondering what was the point of his Son's sacrifice. |
A beautiful and moving play that is a life-affirming tribute to the human spirit. Note: The play contains some scenes with strong language. |
