Neil Simon was born in New York 1927, he is one of Broadway's most prolific
and successful playwrights. Barefoot In The Park was one of his earlier
plays which ran for four years on Broadway before being adapted for the
film starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. He continues to be creatively
prolific, with almost a hit a year since 1991, including the Pulitzer prize-winning
Lost in Yonkers.
