DescriptionA miscellany of monologues and one voice driven playlets. Something for everyone in this pot-pourri of short plays celebrating the solo voice: comedies, tragedies, poetry and bittersweet tales. For those who like the political, there are insights into Sarajevo and Iraq. Contemporary issues such as urban anxiety, infertility, loss of words and therapy culture figure strongly too. However also expect warm-hearted plays about nosy neighbours, the media world, school, keeping disappointment in perspective and dances with historical people! (And we haven’t mentioned the talking dog!) |
