Description
The boy takes the audience on a journey from a 16 year old boy’s bedroom directly into the gas chambers of Auschwitz. It emphasises the pressures upon young people and the way in which they are taught even when nothing is learnt by it.
A boy visits the boy asking him to ‘tell his story’ in a hope it that would regain the soldiers humanity. The play illustrates the transition from a child to an independent adult. The play is far from naturalistic and uses many theatrical techniques. The play is powerful and shocking piece of theatre.
